Sanity's Void

Sculpted Enslain Magazine Issue #8
Sanity's Void seems to have escaped being influenced by any of the sounds of the last decade. Their sound most closely resembles the sound of the old thrash scene, yet not as lively or as technical. The guitar-playing is impressive at times, but it seems to find itself lost in the structure. In this, I mean that the intros are great, as are most of the leads, but when the riffs find themselves repeating a bit much to allow for vocal lines, they seem to lose their harmonizing ability and get dull. The rough vocals are okay, but the attempts at singing need to be strenghtened, or dropped. This isn't a bad demo, but the band has a lot of room to grow. -- Lady Enslain
