Purgatory

No Hope for Life Enslain Magazine Issue #8
From within this nicely laid-out and packaged demo tape comes aggressive Brazilian death metal. Itís not quite melodic, though it could hardly be considered brutal except for the grinding moments. There are some decent riffs, which after enough plays could be thought mildly catchy, but most of the music is fairly common and not highly technical. A more brutal sounding production could help considerably, to add ferocity and intensity to their rather ordinary sound. There are a few weaker moments, too, which could be cleaned up during the recording process. It just sounds as though Purgatory still requires more maturation. -- Lady Enslain
