Divine Rapture

Divine Rapture Enslain Magazine Issue #6
This is, quite certainly, some of the best death/grind I've heard in a while, especially coming from an unsigned act in the Philadelphia area. The riffs are highly technical, and catchy at the same time, with occasional harmonies and solos, and the drums are insanely fast. The recording mix could be better, as the guitars often become hidden behind everything else, but it is, after all, a demo. The mid-ranged growled vocals express some really inspired thoughts and ideals with the intensity necessary to get the point across. Though all of the songs are good, I especially enjoy "Desirous Nonsubsistence," the opening track, which really grabs your attention and holds on to it. -- Lady Enslain
