Enslain Magazine Issue #7
Ciborium join the ranks of the hundreds of death metal bands present in the underground metal scene. Playing music similar to any of these numerous bands, there is very little opportunity to advance. But, this shouldn't be a problem for Ciborium, as it seems they are on the right track, writing brutal songs and playing them tightly, with enough creativity to keep the attention of the listener, and enough variations in speed to keep the songs from getting stale. The recording quality isn't bad, but isn't ideal. With a more raw or deep recording quality, these songs could have more impact. This three-song effort should go over rather well, but I'd put more faith in a follow-up that could prove to be much more potent.
