Anoxia Enslain Magazine Issue #6
Musically, these Rhode Island death metallers have something to work with. The riffs are fast and creative, and the drumming sounds tight. Vocals are no more/less than you'd expect from an unsigned death band. The production is very decent for a demo. Aside from the music, I have a few complaints with this CD. First, and only a minor problem, they really should have spell-checked the lyrics! And while on the topic of lyrics, a good portion of them are quite tasteless and common. But besides all of that, I can see Anoxia as being a worthy band to catch live, and I'd certainly keep an eye out for future releases. -- Lady Enslain
