Enslain Magazine Issue #6
This blackened force grabbed and took me by surprise. Tulus unleashes some powerful, creative, and technical black metal, with traditional riffing. They have uncompromising quality with atmosphere, diversity, and an original sound. There isn't much more you can ask for in such a release. The sound is unconventionally evil by the raw sound quality, distorted guitars, evil screechy growls, and twangy bass that leads the songs along. "Evil 1999" has a range of energetic splendor, and slow, moody darkness that will attract the attention of many of our black souls.
