The Second Decade
Enslain Magazine Issue #7
This album begins with a really sinister sounding intro, and leads into a really good second track "Jump the Gun". I hesitate to put this one into the power metal category because it is close to being too heavy for that. Very solid production and attention to detail make this one worth checking out. Ten tons of double bass, and some guitar playing up there with early 80's Ozzy material set this one apart from most others. I must say that I am impressed; the album was nothing like I was figuring it was going to be. This is the heavier side of the 80's with more talent than most of what we were all listening to back then. Since everything else is coming back around, I wonder if this type of stuff will become popular again? Time will tell...
