Ossuary Insane

Demonize the Flesh (Galdre Records)
Enslain Magazine Issue #6
Order Issue #6! This review included. This Minnesotan three-piece has released an album of very common warlike death. Their sound is unyielding, with no definite song structure at times. The guitars are rather crunchy, bassy, and down-tuned, the vocals are a healthy death growl, and the drums are fast with an occasional offering of grind. The mix is good, the layout and design are done well, and the lyrics are vividly evil. There really isn't much to complain about here except for a certain lack of originality. There are some really brutal as well as some really catchy fragments here, but for the most part, the CD is a little continuous. Most death metal fans will likely approve of Ossuary Insane, so give it a try. -- Lady Enslain
