Of Sculptured Ivy and Stone Flowers
(Martyr Music Group)
Enslain Magazine Issue #6
November's Doom is slow melodic despair with verses of beautiful sadness. They have a very original, heavy and technical, yet somber vibe. Each song has different feelings, with so many intricate sounds exclusive to those songs. This diversity and creativity seems to be their forte, however I feel it takes something away from their sound. As soon as you hear a sound that you really enjoy, and would love to hear an entire album of, you need only blink and they are onto something entirely different. I do not feel that this is a large issue, though, and I believe this to be a very enjoyable and engrossing release that will find a place in your collection.
