Enslain Magazine Issue #7
Lucretia's sound is very retro, but yet the riffing is very progressed, and the production is perfect for the sound, not being overproduced, and giving a little more of the aggression that's necessary to make this listenable. The musicianship is definitely skilled and the songs are really fast and upbeat. I like the vocals, they're very clean and broad-ranged, and generally sung high-pitched, but when the vocalist goes beyond high-pitched and reaches the impossibly-high-pitches, I think it's a bit overdone. But as far as within their heavy metal genre, this is one of the better releases, and though it's only three songs, these French natives deserve some credit.
