Us and Them
Enslain Magazine Issue #6
The sound on "Us and Them" seems Prodigy-esque. Electronic drums and techno/industrial rhythms abound. Also, we have distorted bass and a wide array of electronic sounds in general. More guitar oriented than Prodigy, but less lively. This effort is at its best when the grooves are upbeat and motivating; unfortunately, this accounts for less of the CD than I would have liked. Highlights include "I, Me, Mine," "Defiled," "Nail," and "The Internal." All the material is done well. Those not fans of this genre of industrial quasi-techno would most likely not care for this. For those that are, have a listen.
