(Moonza Records) Enslain Magazine Issue #8
Dipnoi has a great sound, they haven't gone the route of trying to down-tune their guitars to get the really low sound, and in turn rely on their ability to play their instruments, unlike a lot of bands today. The vocals mesh so well with the music, and these guys have put together a great sound for themselves. At points in this album, I hear an older Metallica-like sound. Although this is not something that I would normally listen to, these guys are pretty damn good. If you are looking for something that doesn't sound like a constant barrage of noise and clutter, this CD is right up your alley.
