This 5-song from Betrayer comes to us from Israel. The sound is tight and solid, and it's obvious these guys know how to play their instruments. Some of the songs have their high, creative points, somewhere in between a classic metal/thrash sound, and a hint of hardcore, with underlying keyboards and samples for brief intervals. But there's something kind of unsettling on here. The arrangements seem a bit cluttered, and at the same time the singular guitar sound leaves it sounding rather thin and one-dimensional. As I mentioned, it has its high points, but other points are unlikely to be remembered from the first listen to the next. I think the addition of rhythm guitar could add nicely to their sound and make their flat sound into something worthy of attention -- Lady Enslain
