We Must Be in Hell (Cursed Productions)
Enslain Magazine Issue #6
Order Issue #6! This review included. To begin, let me just say this release destroys their last, "The Winter's Harvest." Programmed drums are replaced by real ones here, and this drastically improves their sound. The sound has become more bass heavy, and darker, and the vocals have matured as well. Though the sound is good, as are the songs, there isn't a whole lot of originality to this black/death sound, and the recording quality is lacking. They definitely sound more like a band than before, and when listening, you feel like you are there watching them at a small underpacked club in town. Their four-song EP, "We Must Be In Hell," is a definite step up for Adversary, and if they climb a few more steps, they'll have a good chance at survival. -- Lady Enslain
